Due to the cost of stripping and recoating, BMR has chosen to leave the parts as-is and sell them parts at a discounted price. Eliminate unused accessories and make room for turbo kits on your LS-equipped F-body with an Alternator Bracket from BMR Suspension. The factory engine accessories can limit the routing for turbo exhaust, or are simply not used in race applications. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, BMR's AB001 allows you to mount the alternator without the need for tensioners or excessive belt length. Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications, BMR's AB001 allows you to mount the alternator without the unneeded accessories getting in the way. The AB001 is designed to work with standard diameter or smaller diameter pulleys by simply changing belts. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension! ***NOTE: this kit is designed to be used with an electric water pump and no power steering or air conditioning. Designed for use on aluminum blocks only. May be used on early 6.0L truck blocks by drilling and tapping one hole in the face of the block.***
