The OE torque arm mounts to the tailshaft housing of the transmission. For factory horsepower levels and average street driving this works fine, but drag racing combined with more power equals broken tailshaft housings. BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmembers allow you to take the torque arm mount off the transmission and onto the crossmember, eliminating the chance of breakage and firming up the mounting point. Additionally, these crossmembers allow the user to fine tune the launch characteristics of the car by offering multiple mounting points for "instant center" height adjustments. Bolts to OE frame points using existing mounting holes.
